Members of Auction Academy’s six Class Groups are making an impact on their companies and the remarketing industry, taking the skills they have learned and the knowledge they have gained to take their places as strong, visionary leaders. Auction Academy Holds Training in Spokane and Baltimore, Reveals Plans for 2020

Auction Academy’s Class Group 6 met for training in Spokane, Washington on July 22-25, in conjunction with DAA Northwest’s Rock & Roll Sale, and in Baltimore, Maryland on September 23-25 where they were hosted by BSC America’s Bel Air Auto Auction.Both sessions began with IARA CAR Certification Testing, and Auction Academy’s President Penny Wanna notes that since the Group’s 1st meeting in May of 2019, more than 50% of the class is now fully CAR certified. “CAR Certification is the gold standard for automotive remarketers, and this training is an invaluable part of our curriculum,” said Wanna. “It not only enhances the students’ understanding of the remarketing process but elevates the skill set of our class participants.” Members of the current Class Group who have been certified this year include Brent Wesner, Kevin Mitchell, Alison Spangler, John Capecci, Mere Rangel, Nikki Liebler, Trevor Schroerlucke, Roxanne Elliott, Felicia Rawles, Katie Alombro, … Continued

Auction Academy Launches 6th Class Group with Training and Tours in Nashville

FRANKLIN, Tennessee — Auction Academy, a continuing education program developed by TPC Management Company (TPC) for professionals in the auto auction industry, launched its 6th Class Group with training in Nashville, Tennessee on May 16-18. 2019. The two-day Session was the first in the two-year program for the new class, and included classroom training as well as auction facility tours and meetings with key auction personnel for in-depth discussions about auction operations. Opening the session was Pierre Pons of Auction Academy who welcomed the group, and Tony Long, who introduced IARA CAR Certification, which continues to be a significant component of Auction Academy’s curriculum. Academy President Penny Wanna, who is herself IARA CAR Certified, administered the first phase of certification for the group and will oversee each students progress. FRANKLIN, Tennessee – Auction Academy, a continuing education program developed by TPC Management Company (TPC) for professionals in the auto auction industry, announced the completion of the 7th session of Class Group 5 in Detroit and looks forward to its final session and graduation at the 2019 CAR Conference in Las Vegas this spring. The Academy also took its popular Seminar Series on the road, making it available to the staff at BSC America’s Bel Air Auto Auction in Belcamp, Maryland.
