Auction Academy Opens Registration for Class Group 8 at CAR

Franklin, TN — Auction Academy has announced it will open formal registration for Class Group 8 in conjunction with the CAR Conference, to be held March 28-30 in Las Vegas.  This class will launch its eight-session program in August of 2023 in Nashville, TN, following with its second quarterly meeting in November in Phoenix, AZ in conjunction with NRC/Used Car Week.“We are already adding students to the roster and expect to fill our 8th Class Group quickly,” said Penny Wanna, President of Auction Academy.  “Positive reviews by previous graduates and the companies they work for have generated great interest and excitement for the upcoming Class Group.”Auction Academy Class Group 8 will meet in-person quarterly to pursue the academy’s in-depth curriculum, alternating with virtual classroom training on a variety of industry topics.Auction Academy was developed by TPC Management Company at the urging of a number of industry leaders who saw the … Continued

Auction Academy’s 7th Class Group Completes First Half of Year with Comprehensive Training

November to be a Busy Month for Auction Academy

Nashville, TN — Auction Academy will finish 2021 with a flurry of activity, with two important events set for November reports Auction Academy President Penny Wanna. Coming up first is the inaugural meeting of Auction Academy’s 7th Class Group in Nashville on November 4th, 5th and 6th. The two-year curriculum includes both virtual training and quarterly in-person meetings. Says Wanna, “We are very excited to welcome this new Class Group to the program and absolutely thrilled that this will be the largest class to date, with 30 registered students from auto auctions and industry partners around the country.” During this first Session, Tony Long of IARA will review that organization’s mission. Auction Academy Plans Return to In-Person Sessions; Class 7 Registration Now Open

FRANKLIN, Tennessee — After more than a year of Virtual Classroom training, Auction Academy plans to resume in-person sessions, with a meeting of Class Group 6 in Detroit in August. Since last June Auction Academy training has taken place monthly in a virtual classroom setting after COVID-19 restrictions prohibited in-person meetings. The change was made halfway through the Class Group’s original two-year Course Syllabus. “We have all experienced great success with our monthly virtual meetings, but we are eager to meet again in person,” says Penny Wanna, Auction Academy President. “We are tentatively planning to resume in-person sessions with a meeting set for August 2-4 in Detroit.
